Eco- Nature

At the bottom of the castle, on almost 13 ha, there is a beautiful landscape park with abundant historical forest stand, which a vast terrace leads to. You may find here inter alia an old beech avenue, the origins of which date back to the early years of the 19th century. A curvy stream, which in some places banks up creating picturesque ponds, flows through the park. Today, there is no trace of the former Renaissance garden, which transformed later in Baroque style partly survived still to the 19th century in front of the façade of the castle. On the other hand, the stream flowing through the park provides the seven ponds, which the Hotel has taken its name from, with fresh water.

Uroczysko Siedmiu Stawów & SPA by L'Occitane offers six professional conference rooms of the total area of over 400 m2 to the Guests. The largest one has the area of 264 m2 and may accommodate 240 persons. Every conference room is equipped with modern equipment ensuring the top quality of the organised conferences, business meetings or training. The original interiors of the 16th century Renaissance castle ensure luxurious atmosphere and perfect acoustics of the presentations during a meeting or training. SPA by L'Occitane, massages and wellness procedures as well as other services are available for you after finishing of the training or conference.

History

Just a few kilometers north of the old town of Niemcza, hidden among the hills southeast of the Dzierżoniów Forest, stands Gola Dzierżoniowska Castle, perched on a ridge. Over the past thirteen years, with meticulous preservation, it has once again become a jewel of Silesian noble culture—and as a castle hotel, it will play a significant role in the future as a tourist destination in the Dzierżoniów area.

This magnificent Silesian Renaissance castle, located south of Wrocław, is home to Poland's first spa by L'Occitane. The new Uroczysko Siedmiu Stawów & SPA by L'Occitane hotel offers 53 rooms and suites that combine a historic atmosphere with modern décor.

The village, called later Gola Dzierżoniowska, had been mentioned for the first time already in 1201 under the name: Gola. We do not know too much about its beginnings; for example, some speculations that this palace had been the premises of the Templars occurred. It is certain that in the Middle Ages, the village was under the possession of von Pogarell family, which transferred its right to the tithe as ‘financial trousseau’ to the Augustinian abbey established by Wincenty of Pogorzela - later Cistercian monastery in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki.
